About the Designer

My love for design began at an early age, thanks to encouragement from my open minded parents. They supplied me with every marker imaginable. They allowed me to paint, even though the mess was horrendous. They supplied me with every marker imaginable, allowed me to paint even though the mess was always horrendous, and lent a hand whenever I decided my room needed a new color palette. Countless hours and thousands of dollars were spent purchasing scrapbooking supplies and rubber stamps which, yes, really did equate to a real profession. 

I much preferred hands-on design until realizing that graphic design was for me. I was accepted into the graphic design program at Iowa State University’s College of Design in 2006, and during a semester in Rome, I learned how to live out loud through my work. Turning my focus from corporate clients to boutique design has allowed me to work with countless people and businesses across the country and has given me the opportunity to create Francine and Georgia.
